GoAnimate for the win!

I had my first animation workshop this week using Go Animate! I was expecting around 11 kids (7 had registered and the day camp kids were supposed to come over too) but only ended up having 4. I had each computer already signed into an account and on the screen where the kids could make their own character. It actually worked out for the best that only 4 kids came because you can only create 1 free character per account (if 11 had come I was going to get them to triple up on the computers and each kid make their own character). After they made their own character then I had them begin to make a movie. The kids loved it! I had three parents ask me what the site was so that the kids could use it at home. One of them even dropped by that evening to find out about the site since her kid loved it so much!
