One on One

  This is exciting for Halls Harbour c@p site. I had a one on one this morning with a lady learning how to use a tablet (which she calls a ipad) ... But it's not :p. I taught her how to get to her mail faster by creating her account on her home page instead of logging into hotmail each time. I showed her how to use chrome due to her not being able to find a blue letter E. She was so excited about using a touch screen and learning how to zoom in and out and how to type compared to a keyboard. This lady only uses the internet for email and searching horses, so teaching her skills was great to see how she adapts to the new technology. It's always great teaching other new skills. She is down at the harbour now to see if she knows how to log into a new wi- fi network the way i taught her. She wants to use the tablet at Tim Hortons and such so I told her the quickest place to try a new work was the Harbour wi-fi.

She left with smile ear to ear and confidence like no one else. :)
