Charter *Late*

The email Charter was quite a fascinating read and I can't really say that it changed my life or anything but it did make me stop and think for a moment. They bring forth good points in sections 5, 6 and 7 because those are all things that are significantly annoying and pretty pointless at times. Who really needs to send that many emails and create a massive thread, send all your questions at once, don't drag them out over a few emails. I also liked cutting down cc's because I am usually included in one of those massive emails...and guess who doesn't care one bit about that hilarious picture you are sending around? Me.
In that light I liked the advice that they gave about shortening emails, and getting rid of open ended questions, they bring up good points on how to make emails shorter and "easier" on the recipient. However I believe that they are kind of taking the personality out of email, by shortening messages drastically and being very too-the-point I feel like it is going to make email feel like a chore instead of something that we want to do. Personally I love emailing people because you have much better communication with someone, you can be more formal and elaborate than when you are texting.
All in all, I guess this is directed at people who get hundreds of emails a day, because I have no problems with taking the time out of my day and reading a few emails.
