Last night was my last adult workshop, eBooks and eReaders. It was also my most successful. The five ladies sat around the table with me, watching what happened on the big screen, then discussing it. Though I was able to assist everyone and teach them a couple new things, that isn't what I found the most successful aspect to be.
These ladies gave me a lot of insight on the workshops, OOO Tutorials and the help CAP Sites give. People really need to learn for themselves, not just been shown. I was very flattered to hear the ladies tell me how much they appreciated my teaching style. Another piece of feedback I received concerned the OOO Tutorials. People have commented that they don't have time to book a slot; they would rather drop-in. The tutorial/help system, at least here at Wolfville, may need some thought.
