Just wanted to thank you again for all your help this summer. And to think I almost missed out on this great opportunity.
When we came down to the Berwick library to take in the 3-D printer demonstration (which was mind blowing) I found out about all the other services that are available through the library and CAP.
The one that immediately connected for me was the opportunity to connect with someone very knowledgeable (YOU) to help me with all my computer questions and conundrums.
While I'm not a total computer dummy ( I easily navigate the Internet, e mails, on-line banking etc) I was at a loss when it came to things like facebook, sending pictures to friend and a few other mysteries of the techno world. I had become increasingly frustrated with my lack of skill in mastering these areas. That last thing I wanted was to be one of those older people who just gave up and decided it was all too much handle.
So, Arielle, then you came along and helped me get my confidence back. In very short order and with simple, effective instruction you helped me fill in my knowledge/skill gaps to the level where I now feel quite confident with my abilities.
Having moved here last year from the west coast I left behind all my friends and was feeling somewhat cut off from them. Now that I have my new-found skills I am finding I'm right back with them and its been great.
My husband, Darcy, thanks you too for solving that frustrating computer problem that he was having. He's got it all sorted out now and feels good about that.
Again I want to thank you for all your help. It may not seem like that big a deal to you but what you did for me really created a big improvement in my relationship with my computer and has inspired me to continue learning about it.
And regards learning - I wish you all the best in the next chapter of your life. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time.
