What Have I done today to be helpful ?

This is not computer related, but it is technology related. Today an older lady came in who has been in from time to time on the computers. She had just got a "texting" plan on her cell phone. She explained that she had to get texting because that is how her kids were communicating "these days!". So we had a brief sit down and I showed her how to text! She had a sliding phone with a full keyboard (thank goodness) so it was really quite easy. She was very shocked that you could send pictures! She was very happy when she left, on her way out saying "you young kids just know everything about technology!" It was funny to me because texting seems to come so naturally. It's a lot like using the computers (so natural). I guess we forget that what comes easy to one person may not be so familiar to another! Something to keep in mind ;)
