What have I done today to be helpful?
Today a mother and her son came into the Kingsport c@p site. The mother needed help with printing off a form for her son to maybe get into a summer camp. I was happy to help this women. It wasn't until later that I enjoyed with great passion helping her. The women wanted her son to be able to play a game or something on the computer. We think to ourselves okay this boy looks about ten he will already know how to use a computer and what game he wants to play... Wrong. This boy was explained to me by his mother. She tells me her son has aspergers. Me being a helpful student I was able to help this boy use a computer. He enjoyed his motorcycle came and was very happy with a new friend. I had no idea what to aspect from a child with aspergers. All I can say is this boy is smart. He is just learning how to read, so I introduced the summer reading program to his mother. Lets just say I will be seeing this boy and his mother often here at the c@p site and I am excited to help them both.
