Re-Return

“ereader troubles” – I have been working with this lady who comes in at least once a week to download books to her laptop and transfer them to her ereader. She askes the same questions and gets stuck at the same places, and feels very discouraged. We tried may different approaches such as writing down the steps, or having her do it once a day to keep it fresh even if they books were not ones she was interested in reading. She had not been in, in over a week and I bumped into her in the stacks where she was getting some paperbacks. She said she had forgotten again how to get the books over onto her ereader and I told her that it’s a complicated process but totally work it if she loves her ereader and the support is here. She scheduled an appointment to return and although this may only seem like a small success, it is part of her journey to getting there and not giving up!
