Kentville/Port Williams Successes & Failures

The 3D printer demonstration hit Kentville this week, and although we had somewhat low turnout, the people who were in attendance were extremely enthusiastic about the whole thing. I felt like they had more to teach me than I had for them, with regards to emerging technologies such as this one.

I am proud to say that my StarCraft 2 Masters League Emblem turned out better than expected, but unfortunately consumed about 1 hour and 30 minutes of Debbie's print time :-P Thanks to everyone who visited my page on Tinkercad.com and liked/commented on my design.

On a slightly disappointing note, I am currently sitting at what would be my 2nd "Weekly Website Workshop". That is, if anyone actually showed up. I was thinking about reconsidering the content of Thursday workshops, but I realized that I have this scheduled to be advertised in The Grapevine in late July and throughout the month of August. With that being said, my hope is to just advertise more aggressively and cross my fingers that there is actually some interest in this type of thing. I've been going through several social media related courses through SkillsOnlineNS, and as a result, am more excited to talk about social media as part of building a web presence for small to medium sized businesses.

Definitely hoping for better turnout for these workshops in the upcoming weeks....
