August Success Stories

Success Story #1:
In Berwick earlier this month I had a great time teaching the Facebook for Business workshop. We were full with six people and we went over a PowerPoint on why using FB for business was useful and how they could optimize their use of it to draw in customers/clients. We went over how to create a page together and then each participant worked on their own pages. It seemed successful in that we were really meeting the e-commerce goal that we had this year of engaging business owners in using CAP resources and in getting them involved in social media and creating an online presence. The participants left excited to work on their pages and one gentleman came back the following week with further questions as well.

Success Story #2:
In my 1-on-1s this month I have had one person regularly attend in the last couple of weeks. She is a Mac user and we’ve been going through various questions that she has had about e-mail, internet searching, file organization, and her iTunes settings. It’s been a learning experience for us both because I had not previously worked with Apple technology very much and she has been learning really quickly! She’s been really enthusiastic about coming back each week to learn more and even participated in some C@P Commercial footage that I shot the other day.
