Why Having a C@P Summer Position Is Important to Me

Having a C@P summer position is important to me for a few reasons:
1. It's a great way to make a little bit of money over the summer.
2. In this position, you are able to interact with and meet new people.
3. It is a learning as well as teaching experience. I don't have an expert background in technology and computer programs (I'm an Arts student :P) so being able to have a job like this I'm sure will expose me to new things as well as allow for me to teach (what I do know) and also learn from others.
4. Computers play a significant role in today's society. It is important that people stay informed and "in the know." Even just helping teach people a little bit, makes a difference. This job and C@P is important because it helps contribute to our being able to successfully function in a fast paced, computer based world.
