Website Thinking

I am getting ready to do some final work on the Kings - West Hants C@P Association website.  The old one is really old, and the new one started last year needs some more work.

Without seeing this website, I want each of you to think about what pages and other things you would have on this website if you were asked to undertake this task.  What do you like most about some of the websites that you currently use, what things don't you like about some websites, what links would you recommend, etc.

Your feedback to this post would be greatly appreciated by Tuesday, June 24th at noon.  Please use the Post a Comment feature below.

Thanking you in advance for your feedback.

  2. Color coordination, not too flashy. Weekly quotes or interesting facts

  3. For pages I would have: Home, About, FAQ, Contact, Photos, events and partners.

For links on the side bard I would have: a link to Facebook, a link to twitter and a donate button.

For the over all appearance I would make sure the colors are coordinated. Here is a link to sites that may help with that http://colorschemedesigner.com/

  4. Large headings are always nice, easy to click and for everyone to see. Photo Galleries are also wonderful, especially when updated frequently.

  7. I think much of the previously mentioned headings are standard and useful, with sub-menus where appropriate. Other than that, making the site visually interesting and uncluttered, making navigation easy for users, and regularly updating the content and photos.
