Success Story

Yesterday I had a workshop and there was one lady that came in that needed help with downloading music onto her laptop then transferring it onto her mp3 player (Walkman). She had FrostWire for downloading but wanted a simpler way to download music. I showed her how she can use YouTube converter. This way she is able to listen to the song beforehand to be sure of the song she wants. I then showed her how to delete her music off the mp3 player. She was very pleased as she thought it was really easy, and caught on quickly.

She also wanted to know how to group certain music, so I suggested making playlists. This was new for both of us, as she did not know how to use her mp3 player and I am used to other players such as iPods. Luckily she had her manual and I was able to figure it out within minutes. I showed her how it make playlists and she was able to follow along. As a showed her I let her do it as well and write down notes. Throughout the session I showed her little technics with the computer that she was able to catch on and use throughout.

She was very grateful for my help and plans on coming back again next week!
