Challenge #2

July 3rd

1.      What have I done today to be helpful?
     A middle aged man came into the c@p site and didn't know the basics of using a computer but wanted his resume fixed and faxed. So he had asked me to help him type up a new one. Doing this he was able to see the steps of how to create a resume.

2.      What have I done today to make it more likely I will learn something? 
   Having people say they will return for one on ones makes me able to learn how to work differently with some customers compared to others learning abilities.

3.      What have I done today to make it more likely someone ELSE will learn something?
Instead of clicking and typing everything for some customers, I had made them use the mouse and I had walked them through steps... over and over again until they got the feel and was comfortable with the mouse.

4.      Have I done something positive about someone to their face?
I told one gentlemen that he was picking up the steps quickly. And told him he will be able to email with confidence in no time. 

5.      Have you said something positive about someone, when they’re note even in the room?
My supervisor and I were talking about an older lady who comes in most afternoons. We were talking about how sweet she is and our memories of her from last summer.

6.      What have I done today to be good to myself?
I organized the desk and and cleaned up the c@p site. Doing this made me feel like I had a clean work area and made it easier for me to find things I use everyday.
